After 25 years since the first
graduation class walked across the stage, Rundle College now has
over 850 alumni currently living, working and studying in
Canada, the United States and abroad. We are very proud of our
alumni's achievements and continue to celebrate their
accomplishments and success.
The Rundle College Alumni program was
established to create opportunities for our Alumni to reconnect
with each other and to encourage meaningful engagement with the
entire Rundle community. We hope that as proud graduates of
Rundle College, you will re-establish your connection to Rundle
by volunteering as a class representative or as an executive for
the Alumni Association. We also have many opportunities within
our schools to bring our alumni and current students together.
Your active participation and involvement with
Rundle will not only provide both personal and professional
advantages, such as networking and mentoring; it is your chance
to give back to the Rundle community and partner with us to
strengthen our history and create traditions that you are be
proud to be part of.
Stop by the high school campus and pick up
your alumni t-shirt. Visit with your favourite teachers or just
come and take a look at how we've grown in 25 years.

A brother and sister bring the gift of sight

For the Calgary Herald

Stephen Huang and his sister Katie represent a new generation of
thinkers. Young, inspired, smart and savvy, this duo is all about
giving back, but on their terms.
"I've been involved in lots of charity work before. Sometimes you wonder where all of the monies go with these huge charities.
I really wanted to be involved and part of the process," explains
22-year-old Stephen, who is a double major in physics and computer
science at the University of Calgary.
To that end, Stephen joined forces with his 20-year-old sister Katie, a
science major at the University of British Columbia, and his father
Peter Huang, a Calgary ophthalmologist, to create Nepal Vision - a
charity founded to offer support in that country with a focus on eye
health and education.
...
"We ended up donating a total of approximately $216,000 worth of supplies and equipment," says Stephen.
