Accolades for Wrestlers

The Rundle College Wrestling Team claimed its 12th and 13th high school provincial wrestling championship titles on March 13, winning both the boys and the girls team titles. Rundle College holds more provincial wrestling titles than any other high school in Alberta.
 
The Rundle College boys’ team has won the provincial title for the past six years in a row, and the girls’ team has won the title in three of the past five years.
 
The team is lead by Neil Domstad, a former national champion and product of the University of Calgary wrestling program. Mr Domstad was chosen as the Alberta High School ‘Coach of the Year’ for 2009/2010. Rundle College is also the runner-up of the ‘School Team of the Year’ honour this year.
 
In the younger grades, the Junior High Team was the CISAA Champions this year as well.
